Happen was launching as a new PR agency founded by Lucy, a communications expert with over 20 years’ experience in the arts and culture sector. The challenge was to translate this depth of experience into a brand that felt fresh, contemporary and approachable. The identity needed to balance playfulness with professionalism, helping Happen stand out in a competitive PR landscape while still feeling credible, confident and easy to engage with from launch.
Goals
The goal was to create a bold and dynamic brand identity that reflected Lucy’s personality and experience while positioning Happen as a modern PR agency. The brand needed to be visually distinctive, flexible enough for digital and social media use, and easy for the client to apply consistently across marketing materials. It was important that the system felt adaptable and alive rather than rigid or overly corporate.
Results
The project resulted in a complete brand identity and flexible content toolkit. The wordmark acts as a visual interpretation of the word “happen,” capturing a sense of change and momentum even when static. A graphic system built around the letter H adds texture and versatility, giving Lucy the confidence to create consistent, impactful content as the business grows.
